WHO WE ARE
At Rainbow Elder Care of Greater Dayton, we believe LGBTQ+ elders have earned the right to live and age on their own terms. Whether they want to live in a senior community or stay in the home they’ve known for years, Rainbow Elder Care connects our LGBTQ+ and ally elders to services they may seek or need to live as they want. We also educate communities about the needs of LGBTQ+ elders, from health care to legal needs and home needs, too.
WHAT WE DO
To serve the community, Rainbow Elder Care of Greater Dayton:
Educates and informs. We work with other senior care organizations to bring programs and information that enables the LGBTQ+ community to live open and authentic lives.
Advocates. We contact and talk with leaders from local organizations to legislators to drive needed governmental support to the needs of LGBTQ+ elders.
Refers. Through our online resources, LGBTQ+ elders can locate many of the people in our community that can help them meet their needs. Our resource list grows all the time, so check back often!
Supports. No matter what the need, Rainbow Elder Care of Greater Dayton cares for our LGBTQ+ elders. We honor their activism that paved the way for the rights we know today, and we honor the sacrifices they’ve made – particularly those of the LGBTQ+ community who have served in the U.S. military.
YOUR SUPPORT
